If YOU want to be happy, be happy.
If you want to be happy, be. Leo Tolstoy
A teacher or trainer who is happy has more power in the learning environment to cater for individual learners – their talents, learning styles and personalities.
Keep it simple. Be happy. Share happy. This opens minds to learning.
Don’t be afraid to laugh at yourself. This is such a powerful quality that levels community. To laugh at yourself means that you acknowledge your imperfection and shows that you are accepting of learner’s imperfection. The learning environment created by laughing at yourself when you stuff up, empowers learners to reflect honestly and critically. You have successfully demonstrated reflective practice. Well done for letting go of perfection.
What have you done that warrants a good laugh at yourself?
